Prayer plants include plants in the following genera: Calathea, Maranta, Stromanthe, and Ctenanthe. Calathea are grown for their beautifully ornamental leaves. Foliage is a deep green with burgundy purple undersides. This plant also has soft, fine hairs that cover both the leaves and petioles.
