The CM-400AKGis an air-launched supersonic surface attack cruise missile believed to be the export version of the YJ-12. One unusual characteristic is that it does not fly at low altitude to avoid detection, but rather uses “high altitude launching” to achieve “higher aircraft survivability.”It may have a top speed of Mach 5.
