ED209 - Police Robot in High Poly

ED209 - Police Robot in High Poly 3D model

Description

YOU HAVE THIRTY SECONDS TO COMPLY. This is a model of ED209 from the Paul Verhoeven classic, Robocop. The good version not that new one... This model was made in 3ds Max using a collection of standardised parts and using research from the original build of the physical model including references for car parts and for rear driven assemblies - ED209 is not a chicken walker robot even though it may look like one, instead it has a sliding reverse leg for lift and placement that makes is fairly unique. The model is not textured - instead, the model is pre-coloured on the mesh so that it can be allocated textures in any procedural renderer, the examples I am using are rendered in Keyshot which took approximately 10 minutes to do from importing the model. If you would like I will separately send you the entire video on how this piece is made at no extra cost if you purchase this model. The video set with full audio is 40 hours and includes creation of a low polygon model which is unwrapped and normal mapped using the high polygon model. I also show how to create a full rig for it, how it can be animated and how to put the ED209 model into the Unreal Engine (it was actually the older UDK however it still works rather unsuprisingly on the UE4 engine. ) I will be updating this product with more files including low poly and the rigged max files and so anyone who purchases this will get those too at no extra cost.
