Description

High-poly historical accurate (as close as possible) reconstruction of an early medieval (around 10th -11th century) and very simple hunting crossbow. It consists of only three wooden components and some string including a very simple thumb trigger on top. The crossbow is made from ash wood. Examples of this kind of light hunting bow were found at Colletière à Charavines from the period around 1000 AD.

Models are:

  • Fully mapped and textured (wooden parts with two different textures).
  • In real world scale (meters).
  • Logically grouped or attached together and named.
  • Everything is collapsed to editable poly.
  • All strings and cords are kept as splines as well.
