The T-34 was one of the most manufactured soviet tanks produced in WWII. It’s main purpose was to combat the German’s Panzer III and Panzer IV tanks. Later, in the mid 1940s, the T-34 was upgraded to the T-34/85 which boasted a larger 85mm gun (replacing the 76mm gun) and a roomier turret to allow for a third crewman in addition to a few other changes. Over 55,000 T-34/85 tanks where made. Most of these where in use during WWII, but many where also used by China and North Korea during the Korean War.
