This is a midpoly 3D model of an AK-74. The model is made as close as possible in proportions to the combat prototype, but contains minor changes in order to avoid problems associated with intellectual property rights. The moving parts - the bolt, the trigger, the sights, the fire mode switch, the clip and the clip release button - are left as separate meshes to allow them to be animated. The model has UV mapping; there are no materials or textures. There is a plug inside the receiver to prevent the effect of transparency when looking through the hole for the bolt to move and eject the cartridges. On the left side of the receiver there is an imitation of a Soviet optical sight mount. The model is suitable for use in animation and game development; it will be especially useful for military, historical and post-apocalyptic settings.
