This 3D model of a late 15th-century European full plate armor was created with a strong emphasis on historical realism and clean, production-ready geometry. Ideal for use in realistic medieval games, cinematic animations, historical reenactments, or virtual museum exhibits, the model captures the intricate design and mechanical articulation of authentic knight armor. Every plate, strap, and joint has been carefully modeled to reflect real-world construction, including proper anatomical proportions and historically accurate overlaps between armor segments.
The mesh features clean topology that supports deformation for animation, while remaining efficient enough for use in real-time engines such as Unreal or Unity. All parts of the armor are logically separated and named, making the model easy to rig, pose, or customize. The model is fully UV unwrapped and includes a set of PBR textures using the metallic/roughness workflow for a natural metal appearance under various lighting setups.
This armor is built to integrate smoothly into both game and cinematic pipelines. The model can be used as-is or further detailed for ultra-high-res renders. Its clean topology and realistic construction make it a solid foundation for both historical and grounded fantasy projects.
Includes 4K PBR textures for: color, roughness, metallic, normals and ambient occlusion.
The chainmail uses a separate tiled material with 1K textures for color, metallic, roughness and normals.
