The Archaeo.Sys 3D series is developing high-fidelity 3D reconstruction of Objects, Architecture and Scenes from Classical Greek and Roman Antiquity.

The Greek Hoplite Shield Model A here presented has been reconstructed following the archaeological evidence and the Greek vase-painting representations and coins and sculpture representations of Hoplite Shields and their decorations.

Shield Model A comes with the Symbol of the famous Attica and Athenian clan of the Alcmeonids (about 700 Attica families) 'the Triskeles' ('The three legs').

Pericles and Alcibiades were members of these families.
