Description

The Wire Collection finds inspiration in traditional saddle making and metal work, and challenges the synergy and contrast in the use of materials. The honesty in genuine materials and the balance between functionality, ergonomics and manufacturing define Wire and reflect its purpose. The steel frames are hand welded by well skilled blacksmiths and the leather upholstery are sewn and worked by trained saddle makers using special made fixtures.

The Wire Collection comes in a black coated steel frame or in a semi satin chrome plated steel frame. The upholstery front is made in exclusive aniline leathers - Yellowstone or Elegance leather. Both types are beautiful leathers, but with specific and differing specifications. The back is in 3,5 mm full-grain leather. Yellowstone is vegetable-tanned aniline leather with a wax finish, meaning the color will change over time. The individual story of the animal is mirrored on the surface of the leather making each hide exceptional and unique. Elegance is pure aniline and made exclusively from the best raw hides. The leather is tanned with chrome but subsequently exposed to a vegetable tanning process, offering greater firmness.
