It was a challenge for me to extract as much detail as I could from the references over time. Although I modeled similar chairs many times, it was a different experiance connected with texturing and creating detail not with a lot but with less geometry and still to look good.
47 k polygons total Open Subdiv kept above) You can always do more - in this case less polygons :), but that was a good reminder of the usage of the word: enough- to look good. The textures were a lot of fun. All the detail's renders are treated in Photoshop for post production. A little secret is that I am using Color Lookup : Filmstock_50_3dl on 50% opacity and Blur Gallery: Field blur for DOF effect. Nice and Fast..Fast and Furious effect :)))))))))
