DESCRIPTION

Rolf Rastad & Adolf Relling for Gustav Bahus set of 2 armchairs model 56/2 'Bambi', teak and leather, Norway, circa 1954. Excellent example of the 'Bambi' chair of Rolf Rastad and Adolf Reling. This edition consist of a teak frame and light beige leather upholstery. The wooden frame shows lightness and openness, with beautiful curves and great woodworking. Armrests run smoothly over into the back and create an interesting Silhouette. The slanted legs that are placed slightly outwards gives this chairs a certain playfulness. The seating and back are upholstered with thick beige saddle leather that aged beautiful. The leather is in good condition.
