DESCRIPTION

A high quality, yet low poly 3D model of a Wooden Door with Frame and Vision Panel, created in Autodesk Maya.

This wooden door is used as a hinged barrier that allows ingress (entry) into and egress (exit) from an enclosure. The 3D model can be placed in a doorway (an opening in the wall / portal). A door's essential and primary purpose is to provide security by controlling access to the doorway. It is a panel that fits into the doorway of a building, room, or vehicle. Doors are generally made of a material suited to the door's task, in this case we've gone with a hardwood, but it can also give the impression of a composite wooden material. They are commonly attached by hinges.

The door can pivot/move/rotate in both directions, the rigged axis is set-up to allow this. The handles/door knobs can also rotate, to allow opening/closing the door.

The model is great to use in your games, films as CGI, VR, or animations. It's low poly but holds enough detail to place into a scene for a realistic CGI element.
