The project can save you or your designer up to two weeks of work. For example, a designer is hard pressed to identify a sound method for machine framing, guarding, power cabinets, disconnects, wire entry methods and strain reliefs, safety light trees and interlocks, how to design doors and attach panels, where to buy these items and assemble a detail bill of material for budgeting and detail cost tracking.

The above is completed in this CAD assembly file with the bill of material (an excel file) attached in the design journal. A seasoned designer will spend at least five full days assembling this information and CAD, more than likely 10 - 15 days. At $35/hr. that can run you $2800 or more. This project will get them started and ready to insert/integrate the Pick and Places, Robots, Conveyors, Presses, Ultrasonic Welders, Laser Engravers, etc.

If you are a Designer or Engineer, this file can save you at least a week and provide a strong and sound machine enclosure starting point.
