Can Sealing Machine with Pressure InjectionThis can seaming machine was designed by me. It features a mechanism in which the seaming rollers rotate around the lid to seal it, while the can body and lid remain stationary. During operation, in each cycle, a cylinder pushes the can with its lid upward into the correct position. Then, the PLC receives the position signal from the lifting cylinder sensor and supplies air to two large cylinders that raise the sealing chamber to create an enclosed space. This allows pressure to be pumped in until the internal pressure of the can matches the preset pressure. Once the pressure reaches the set value, the pressure sensor sends a signal back to the PLC, which then activates the lid seaming assembly to rotate the specified number of turns, controlled by a position sensor.
The rotary seaming unit was carefully designed with a two-belt drive system having precise gear ratios. Therefore, after each cycle, the seaming head always returns to its original position.
In this design package, I used the original software SOLIDWORKS 2018, and I have also saved it in .STEP and .X_t formats. In addition to the assembly and part files, I also provide the electrical circuit drawing and PLC programming code files.
I hope that with this design, you will be able to build a beautiful and efficient machine. Thank you!
