Viking comb

Viking comb 3D model

Description

Model of a Viking Age (750-1050 AD) comb made from bone with a basic pattern carved into it.

Combs is a very common type of find on Viking Age archaeological excavations. They were usually made of bone or antler and are found both in graves and settlement contexts. They seem to have been a common personal accessory and were often decorated, sometimes even with runic inscriptions.

The model has 2K PBR-textures built to real-world scale (metric system). The model was created using Blender and Substance Painter. Preview images were rendered with Iray.
