DESCRIPTION

Pala chair set by Girsberger. The scene includes 5 chairs with different legs and upholstery.

MODEL

The scene units are millimeters. All objects have real-life dimensions.

All chairs built of two objects: seat (Sub-D, Turbosmooth modifier) and legs (polygon mesh). Geometry of each chair is grouped together. Pivot of the group placed at the bottom of the bounding box. No lights, cameras and unnecessary or hidden geometry in the scene.

Warning! For those who use V-Ray version lower than 3.10.01 please be aware that the materials in this scene are made with Microfacet GTR (GGX) BRDF model. So the older V-Ray versions may render the objects invisible. To fix this just choose Blinn or Phong in BRDF rollout. Materials will look a bit different (rougher for Blinn, glossier for Phong) but can easily be adjusted by changing Glossiness value. Or if glossiness is driven by a map you can adjust RGB Level in the Output rollout of a Bitmap texture.
