Ludwig Mies van der Rohe-Barcelona Chair Relax

Ludwig Mies van der Rohe-Barcelona Chair Relax Low-poly 3D model

Description

Everyone knows the Barcelona Chair, a leading example of design and craftsmanship. In 1929, Ludwig Mies van der Rohe designed the German pavilion for the World Expo in Barcelona. Especially for this, he also created the Barcelona Chair. For the typical cross frame, he was inspired by the seats from ancient Rome. The production of the Barcelona Chair involves a lot of manual work. For example, the elegant chrome frame is polished by hand. The 40 individual panels for the chair are cut hand-welted and hand-tufted with leather and buttons produced from a single cowhide. Knoll has been holding the exclusive rights for the production since 1953. You can combine the stunning chair with the matching Ottoman, for even greater comfort.
