DESCRIPTION

The first chairs of Ludwig Mies Van der Rohe were presented at the international exhibition in 1929, the exhibition was held in Spain. There they simply tore all their competitors apart, more than 80 years have passed since then, and the company continues to produce chic furniture. It occupies the best place in the famous designer interiors, and is considered a masterpiece of the twentieth century.

StoryThe armchair was created by the famous designer Ludwig Miss van der Rohe especially for the day of the German exhibition in 1929. Egyptian folding chairs were taken as the basis, to which the author added his vision of aristocratic furniture, which was intended for modern comfort and could surprise with its details. Over the following years, the production technology was constantly improved, and as a result, furniture was obtained that won all the prestigious awards.The main feature of Barcelona Chai is a strong frame made of light steel. All the furniture is designer, it is decorated with natural leather with the use of steel stitching - capitonné.
