DESCRIPTION

Low poly version of the original highly detailed 3D model of MesseTurm Skyscraper landmark a.k.a. Fair Tower in Frankfurt, Germany.

The building is separated in several fully unwrapped parts with high resolution diffuse, alpha, specular, normal and bump maps.

Lobby interior is also modeled without the furniture and lower level escalators.Interior floor plates and main shaft block are included.

Modeled in real world scale - meters.

V-ray and standard materials version included.

All parts and materials are properly named and organized.

Drag and drop ready - no background objects, cameras and lights in the scene.

Polycount of V-Ray version:

Polys: 12708

Verts: 12433

Polycount of standard Scanline version:

Polys: 11835

Verts: 11604

The difference in polycount of the V-Ray and Scanline version is because V-Ray version uses shell modifier for better realism of the building parts with transparent windows.

The high resolution textures are mainly 4096x4096px PNG files.

There are also lower resolution textures included which are mainly 2000x2000px.

If you have only 4GB RAM on your system it is advised to use the lower resolution ones - just extract MesseTurmLP_textures_2k.rar in the main folder and replace the original textures. It will still look good on medium distance.

Among the used maps there is a high quality 3000x3000px seamless granite textures which can be very useful in other projects.

The _max zip file contains separate v-ray and standard materials scenes for max2009.It also includes all textures in high resolution.

Four type of OBJ files exported for Cinema4D, Maya, Softimage/XSI and Lightwave. Other 3D software, supporting OBJ format, will also be able to open them.

Please have in mind, that depending on the software you use, the exported formats may not look exactly how you see them in the preview images. In some cases the mesh may appear triangulated and you may need to manually reassign materials/textures .

The exported formats archives don't include textures, you can download them separately - either MesseTurmLP_textures_HighRes.rar or the lighter version MesseTurmLP_textures_2k.rar.

The model is mainly for medium distance shots, if you need to make close up shots of the building it is advised to buy the high detail version instead. You can find it in the suggested products below.
