Cut and chopped firewood pack

Cut and chopped firewood pack Low-poly 3D model

Description

Low-poly pack of fire wood from five European tree species (pine, birch, maple, lime or linden and beech) in different states of processing. Some logs are just cut into smaller bits. Others are chopped already. Some of them are thrown on a pile carelessly during the process of chopping. Others are already neatly stacked. Some stacks are nearly depleted or in the middle of being re-filled for winter. Single pieces are about 30 - 40 cm long.

UPDATE 2020-02-01: broken unwrap repaired; added each object as a single .obj-file

The file includes:

  • 4 piles of big chunks, which are not chopped into pieces
  • 3 piles of chopped wood (open, against a wall, against a corner)
  • 2 low stacks
  • 1 collapsed low stack
  • 3 different medium high stacks
  • 105 unique single pieces from 5 different species of European trees, that form the previous objects

Polys/Verts

  • Single pieces: (22/24) – (32/34)
  • Piles of big chunks: (300/320) – (600/640)
  • Piles and stacks: (2,520/2,698) – (13,398/14,344)

UPDATE: It turns out that the issue I was having with this model was due to the shortcomings of the software I am using which does not support sub-elements and sub-materials. Vendor responded very quickly and updated only some hours later his model. Now I am very happy with this very nice piles of firewood. THX! Highly recommended! ------------------------------------------------ I just purchased this model. The concept is very good. But unfortunately, this is presented in a very unusual way (at least for me). I have to rely on the OBJ-version as I don't have the Autodesk apps. When I import the OBJ file into my software (DAZ Studio), all of the stacks and piles come as one piece, they are not separated from each other. This is not good, I can't use it this way. Also, this makes it very difficult to apply the textures. They simply don't work. Please, make the OBJ-piles/stacks separate from each other. THX!

Nice pack of low-poly firewood. :-) Suitable for mid to far distance renders or, perhaps, for games.
