This 3D model was originally created with Sketchup 8 and then converted to all other 3D formats. Native format is .skp 3dsmax scene is 3ds Max 2016 version, rendered with Vray 3.00 This Butlin's Waltzer... State of the art in it's day served faithfully over 25 years at Butlin's Filey... East Coast of England... Until 1983 when All Butlin's Holiday Camps closed with just 3 Camps ear-marked for re-development... This Ride and All the others are built not transportable because of Butlin's being open All year... And usually within a hundred yards from the sea... Therefore where wood panels an beams were normally used ... They were replaced with Galvanised Steel and Girders... Screws and bolts became rivets and welded... And to add extra securing the would be pile driven in and concreted... All this to stand the rigor's of England's Winter Storms... Butlin's Filey survived after closure for a few more years due to regular film companies using it .. And the popular TV Comedy Series ... Heidi Hi was made there...The fate for this Waltzer came when a week before the opening of The New Butlin's ... SKYLINES ... where due to open for a publicity Advert on Television.... Demolition Charges where set all over the Holiday Camp... Camera's where installed Dining Halls where still Setup with All Crockery and Utensils for over 2000 guests... Beds made in all the Chalet's... Fun Fairs Working... Millions saw the Devastation on ITV Television in the Largest Explosions since WW2.. This Waltzer was bulldozed into the Swimming Pools along with the rest of the Funfair ...
