DESCRIPTION

Photo 3D model of the Tower of Los Velasco in Medina de Pomar. Burgos. Castilla-Leon. Spain. The citadel or castle of Medina de Pomar Velasco, also called The Towers of Medina is one of the largest and most spectacular medieval fortifications in the province of Burgos. It was built by the family Velasco from 1370 for residential use as stately palace. Its structure is Allemandes two towers linked by a lower and shallower section, where two doors open on opposite walls. The towers show various bays, well kind of loophole or mullioned Gothic traces. Inside the Alcázar de los Velasco, there are many dependencies with traces of plaster and other Moorish decorations, perfectly suited to the fourteenth century, where kings and nobles Christians had succumbed to the luxury and sensuality of Moorish aesthetics.
