DESCRIPTION
San Jose de Tumacacori is a Spanish Roman Catholic mission church erected near Nogales in Arizona, USA. The church was founded in 1691 but the present structure was built in 1757. The mission church was eventually abandoned in 1843 and it have been preserved as an inactive historic monument until today. It is an early hybrid between Spanish baroque architecture and indigenous Pueblo architecture.
