Description

Old entrance gate to an old church. Photo-realistic 3D scanned model comes with 4k PBR textures and 3 LOD versions. Slow and a very fast door opening is animated in 3d max scene as well as in .fbx format. Door opens inwards much better. Other direction causes some intersections with a wall. Gate is decorated with symmetrical pattern made of wooden planks. Pictures of a gate where taken in a sunny day so light direction is baked in color map, but Photoshop was used to mitigate light directionality. Parts of gate that where barely seen from ground has less accurate textures. Manual retopology was performed on LOD 0, and automatic decimation was used for LOD 1 and 2. Level of detail as indicated by 3d s Max: lod 0 - 1939 polys, 3419 tris, 1812 verts. lod 1 - 1175p,t., 649v. lod 2 - 329p,t., 191v. The church was build in 1746–1768 in late baroque style. It was build as a Catholic church but in 1859 converted to Orthodox worship place then converted back to Catholic one. After second world war the church converted to a vegetable warehouse and two Concrete ceilings where constructed inside a Church. Now it is used for exhibitions and for Catholic ceremonies as well. Note that this is one sided thinn (no thickness) geometry. so if you plan for a camera to go in you will need to model the interior, and some thickness for door / gate.
