PROBLEM AND SOLUTATION

in july 2010 some satellite images revealed to colossal algal bloom covering approximately a surface area of 377.000 square kilometres ( 146.00sq mi) in the baltic sea The algal bloom spreaded out from Germany and Poland to Finland.

Researchers of this phenomenon have registered that algal blooms have occured every summer for decades the runoff of chemical fertilizers from surronding agricultural land.Approximately 100000 km2 of the baltic seafloor almost a quarter of its total areas is a variable dead zone.A depletion in oxygen is noticed on the bottom due to the fact that the more saline and denser water can be found at ist bottom. Research chalim that its mainly bacteria that grow in it's digesting organic material and releasing hydrogen sulfide. The baltic seafloor has gone through a series of pollutions since the world war whereas a number of element were dumped and till date it still suffers from it , there the seafloor ecology drastically differs from that of neighbroring atlantic.

YEAR : 2020

-Locating the major algal bloom zones in the baltic sea.-Choosing a strategic location to build the main station.-Initiating the first action plan that involves algae , other waste collections.-Introduction of mobiles sub-station or residencies that assist the main station by beign sent out.

YEAR : 2070

-Successful first action plan . Creation of second station and strategy is repeated.

  • Tackling the problem from its core by filtering the runoffs.-development of small communities around the main station.-The main station of be comes some sort of mothership that pro vides the essential needed amenties to its growing little communites.

YEAR : 2120

-Continuous growth.-Supplying farmers with bio-fertilizer & good habits.-Baltic Sea slowly re-claiming back its environment and ecosystem.

YEAR : 2170

-Continuous growth.-Implementation in other zones around the world.
