vintage Nintendo Game BoyFor my 3D modeling project, I created an old, vintage Nintendo Game Boy using 3ds Maya for modeling, Substance Painter for texturing, and rendered the final image with Arnold.I focused on building an authentic handheld device with a slightly stylized and aged look. The model captures the nostalgic feel with careful detailing like worn-out buttons, faded colors, scratches, dirt buildup, and even vintage character stickers that have peeled over time.In Substance Painter, I emphasized realistic surface imperfections and material aging to give the Game Boy a true sense of history and personality. The final rendering with Arnold highlights these textures under soft, warm lighting, placed against a wooden surface to enhance the retro mood.The result is a character-rich, believable vintage Game Boy that tells a story of many years of use and childhood memories.
