DESCRIPTION

This solar panel measures 2 x 3 meters x 5 cm in height. It was created in Blender and is ready for use in games or WebGL frameworks like three.js (preview screenshots) or deck.gl (preview video). It is a low-poly model with bevelled edges and UV texture (included). Since it was created using parametric design, I can easily create others based on your requirements, with individual dimensions, other textures or higher detail. If you're interested, drop me a line. The model is UV unwrapped, the texture consists of two baked PBR materials resembling a light gray matte metal frame and the silicon modules in broad stripes. The shape of these silicon modules could be changed to for example square shaped modules. The intended use for this model was to be placed on a deck.gl map, as you can see it in the preview video, hence the low level of detail. If you need other file formats, please let me know. For now, I have included .obj, .fbx and .glb as well as compressed .glb.
