Nixie Tube Retro 50s Electronics 3D Model

Nixie Tube Retro 50s Electronics 3D Model 3D model

Description

Introduced by the Burroughs Corporation in 1955, the Nixie tube is a cold cathode device used to display nummerals and other symbols. In case you were wondering, Nixie stands for Numeric Indicator eXperimental No. 1. My model includes all functional parts: Glass tube; Numerals (0-9...cathodes); Wire mesh (anode); Multi-input prong assembly; Back plate; Manufacturer decal (fictional) UV textured. Please note: Depending on your software, you may need to reassign materials and UV decal texture to back of glass tube. The download includes the original Blender cycles blend file (2.77a) which includes the nodes setup for lighting the numbers, the UV texture decal (stressed and weathered for that gritty, used authenticity) and multiple object export formats. Thank you for stopping by!
