DESCRIPTION

This is a mechanical keyboard that comes with OEM profile keycaps. The keycaps were designed using Catia and imported to 3dsmax for rendering with vray. The keycaps are measured and precise, but have not been tested for 3D printing. The keycap profile is OEM, but slightly modified for a more rounded top corner.

The geometries in the native format *.max are solid objects (CAD data) and can be freely re-exported to other formats such as *.stl. For *.obj and *.fbx formats, the geometry is automatically converted to poly/mesh, which will give the same rendering quality as the native format. However, materials in fbx and obj might need minor adjustment or can be freely modified.

The texture mapping is very simple. Planar map is used for easier setup. A template is provided in vector format *.ai so you can freely change the colors, fonts, or add custom branding & logo.
