Yaesu FRG-7700 receiver

I have rebuilt many electronic equipment in 3d that I ever had in real life. I was a fanatic radio amateur and was active at various frequencies on short wave and higher frequencies. I have contacted short and very long distances with people with the same passion and accomplished good results that I still cherish after the moments of calling my call sign and being heard. Both day and night, I tried to get in touch with my broadcast, but at the same time I listened to the shortwave radio. I will never forget that I received signals on jet fighters flying over Iraq during the war with Saddam Hussein. I listened to radio contact with the pilots to land troops and went violently to it. That was really exciting!

Besides these radio signals there was a lot to listen to and I also connected my computer with a special modem that could view encrypted messages on my screen. It was about SSTV (Slow Scan TV) that images were sent all over the world. Weather images and airplane messages with positions and circumstances. In short, there was a lot exiting fun to do with the receiver and the connected wire antenna of 20 meters. Still I'm cherishing these moments when there was no internet yet and hours to listen and decode signals. Today we have the Internet and we are connected to a network where messages can be sent in few seconds.
