DESCRIPTION

Shocksquatch is the Omnitrix's DNA sample of a Gimlinopithecus from the planet Pattersonea.[OV Brief 1]

In Heroes United, Shocksquatch was portrayed as a thick, muscular yeti-like alien. His body was covered in white, gray, and blue fur, and he had a reddish-pink face adorned with pointed eyebrows. The alien's green eyes had black pupils, and he had metallic gray circular bolts on the back of his hands and lower jaw. Moreover, he wore the Ultimatrix symbol on his chest.

In Omniverse, Shocksquatch's appearance changed. He now appears slimmer and had yellow and black fur. His fingers and toes were gray, and he has four fingers instead of five. Also, he has two bolts on the side of his wrists instead of the back of his hands. Additionally, Shocksquatch has green eyes with black pupils and yellow lightning bolt-shaped horns. He wears a green and white belt, which has the Omnitrix symbol on it.

Shocksquatch has the power of electrokinesis, which gives him the ability to manipulate the strong charges of yellow, high-voltage electricity he releases from the bolts on his body, or from his mouth.[2][3] It creates electricity via kinetic energy.[DR 1] These charges can be used to create localized electric fields,[OV Brief 1] or can be projected as beams at targets a considerable distance away. These beams can even travel across the ground, as demonstrated by Crashocker.[4]

Shocksquatch can charge up his body with static electricity, by generating which from his bolts, or by rubbing his hands together, as demostrated by Electricyeti.[5] Once his body is sufficiently charged, his fur will stand on end, and he can unleash a powerful electric shock to the next thing he touches.[3][6] Shocksquatch can also use this power supportively to beings that are electrically resistant, such as a rolled-up Arburian Pelarota, by transferring his charge to their body.[5]

By covering objects with his electricity, Shocksquatch can telekinetically move them.[7] Shocksquatch can also generate an electric force field that can shoot beams of electricity in multiple directions.[1]

Shocksquatch is quite strong, as shown when he punched Buglizard until the ground fell apart, causing them to fall through into the subway.[3]

Shocksquatch has a degree of enhanced durability, being able to withstand being flicked off a Way Bad.[8] He is also immune to freezing climates thanks to his thick fur.[OV Brief 1]

Shocksquatch is more agile than he looks, as he jumped over Buglizard easily.[3]

Shocksquatch is fast enough on foot to keep up with a speeding car,[9] and can also run on all fours in a similar fashion to a bull or rhinoceros to increase his speed.[10]

Shocksquatch can temporarily shield himself against cosmic radiation by generating electric fields around his body.[OV Brief 1]
