DESCRIPTION

In Dragon Ball Z: Broly - Second Coming, the Family Kamehameha was achieved with the help of the Dragon Balls (as Goku was dead at the time), during a brutal showdown with Legendary Super Saiyan Broly. After Broly strikes Videl, Gohan becomes completely enraged and declares he has had enough of the psychotic Saiyan, who promises it would only end with Gohan dead at his feet before launching his Omega Blaster to threaten Earth itself. Gohan responds with a Super Kamehameha but is clearly on the losing end of the Energy Clash, even after Goten joins him to form the Bros. Kamehameha. Desperate, Goten wishes Goku was there to help, and the Dragon Balls appear to resonate with his thoughts, as a vision of Goku himself descends from the clouds to join them in battle and form the Family Kamehameha. While Goku coaches his sons, an awakened Trunks flings an energy sphere into the path of the Omega Blaster, preventing Broly from powering up his attack further and weakening it. Seeing their chance, Goku, Gohan, and Goten release all of their power into the Family Kamehameha. The attack shatters Broly's Omega Blaster and his desperate attempts to stop it, blasting the Legendary Super Saiyan into the Sun.
