Gogeta (ゴジータ Gojīta) is the Metamoran fusion of Goku and Vegeta when they perform the Fusion Dance properly. Wielding the combined and magnified strength of both Goku and Vegeta, Gogeta is an incredibly deadly warrior, and like his Potara counterpart Vegito, he is regarded as one of the most powerful characters in the entire Dragon Ball franchise.

Gogeta first debuted in Fusion Reborn as the final protagonist when Goku and Vegeta fused in Hell to defeat Super Janemba. He returned in Dragon Ball GT as a Super Saiyan 4 to battle Omega Shenron, but defused quicker than expected due to over-using too much power. He would then make his canonical debut in Broly as the film's final protagonist, similar to his role from Fusion Reborn.

In general, as a fusion of Goku and Vegeta, Gogeta is a combination of their characteristics, retaining Goku's tall physique and Vegeta's stern facial features. His base form's hair is jet-black, and his hairstyle primarily resembles Vegeta's, though Gogeta's hair is longer and wider, sporting an additional bang from his forehead, while retaining Vegeta's widow's peak (though not in Dragon Ball Super: Broly). In Dragon Ball Z: Fusion Reborn and Dragon Ball GT, he has Goku's pale skin while in Broly, he has the same tan skin tone as Vegeta. His Metamoran outfit also differs across various media: in Fusion Reborn and Dragon Ball GT, his outfit is composed of the standard black vest and black wristbands along with unique reddish-orange padding and a dark blue belt and leg bands, while in Broly and Super Dragon Ball Heroes, his padding and belt and leg bands match the standard yellow and teal colors, respectively. In Dragon Ball GT, Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta's hair closely resembles Super Saiyan 4 Goku's, though it resembles Vegeta's hair in the back, and his hair is bright red, and his fur is dark reddish-brown, unlike other Super Saiyan 4 users who generally have red fur and black hair.

Like most other fusions, Gogeta possesses a dual voice consisting of Goku and Vegeta's individual voices combined. In earlier Dragon Ball media and games, Goku's voice was made more dominant to differentiate him from Vegito, where Vegeta's voice was more dominant. In modern Dragon Ball media and games, both fusions have begun to sound much more similar to one another.
