This is the completely clean, fully rigged, base mesh model for Acheron style Crocotta characters. An exchangable texture with 16 color palettes is included. You can easily add your own, or mix and match to create a unique character for your unique project. Male and female can each use all colors.

The Crocotta is a wily and savage predator, native to the wilderness of Aethiopia. Its strong jaws, which crunch through the bones of elephants and rhinos, can also make short work of metal armor. They are as fast as horses, and gallop across the plains on hooved feet. Like dogs, they have a keen sense of smell, and they love to dig up graves and gobble up corpses. But despite its ample supply of savage adaptations, the Crocotta is also embued with magical abilities and a wily cunning. The Crocotta can mimic human voice with great accuracy. They will skulk about the perimeter of a camp or dwelling until they have learned the voices of its prey. Then, the Crocotta will call out at night in a human voice, often feigning injury or sickness to lure the compassionate. Once its human prey is out in the open in the dark of night, they cannot outrun the Crocotta's speedy hooves or withstand its terrible bite. If its voice is not enough to convince a human, the Crocotta can also hypnotize prey with its gaze. Its eyes flash with the thousand colors of the rainbow, and any man or beast who looks into them will be rooted in place, as the Crocotta begins to eat them alive. Some say that especially gifted Crocotta can even shapeshift into human form, like the distant Kitsune, or that humans can be cursed to transform into Crocotta every night, digging up and devouring the corpses of their neighbors.
