Description

A festive traditional dress, useful as a medieval or pagan female outfit. Cloth simulated and animated, a layered PSD provided for customisation.

This is a complete package with the gown and the mannequin (Max 9), a layered PSD and the original file used (Max 9) to generate normals and ambient occlusion from a high poly object to a low poly. A displacement texture is also included.

Model uses a material setup with the main texture, two fabric textures mixed with a filter map, a normal map and additional bumb map. The Cloth simulation is driving two proxy meshes with Cloth groups assigned and they in turn deform the final clothing. A 30 frame animation is provided.

Example setup for a project involving this asset:
1) dedicating 30 frames for settling the clothes on the animation start pose
2) on frame 1, moving character rig into position for the clothing (frame 0 is rig position)
3) correcting the clothing onto the character
4) running the Cloth simulation for frame 1-30

Face count is for the clothing only. Rendered in scanline mode with standard Max materials. Scene will render as seen in the previews.
