Lex Gillette is a Blind Paralympic World Champion Long Jumper. Nike built and designed the eyewear, with the goal not only being to fulfill the Paralympic Class T11 requirement that all athletes wear opaque glasses or an eye mask, but to design eyewear that rounded out his uniform and highlighted Lex’s personal style. The Goggles were worn by Gillette in the 2004 paralympics.
