Review of the 3D Model – Subaru Forester 2025 As the art director of the project utilizing this model, I’d like to highlight several critical issues affecting its realism and overall quality: 1. Geometric inaccuracies– The panel gaps and seams do not match those of the real vehicle, which significantly impacts the model’s authenticity. 2. Chamfers and body details – The edge bevels across various parts are incorrect, and the side inserts on the outer sills do not resemble those found on the actual car. 3. Scale and proportions – Despite the physical dimensions being approximately 4.7 meters, the model visually appears more like a 1:24 scale miniature due to insufficient precision in edge detailing and chamfers. This results in a toy-like appearance rather than a realistic full-scale vehicle. 4. Paint and material setup – The shading and material properties need improvement, as they currently lack the realism required for high-quality rendering. 5. Excessive use of N-gons – The model contains a significant number of N-gons, which should generally be avoided. Their presence can cause issues in subdivision workflows and may lead to rendering and deformation artifacts. Overall, the model requires refinement, particularly in geometric accuracy, topology, and material definition, to meet professional visualization standards.
