DESCRIPTION

The colonnade (rotunda or belvedere) is a continuation of Vorontsov's palace estate, an integral part of it, and stands on the very edge of the hill. The author of the project was the same architect, F.K. Boffo. The colonnade consists of 10 columns arranged in two rows on a high stepped base, and is considered the best viewing point in the city of Odessa. Governor-General Vorontsov himself often admired the beauty of the sea, and the beautiful view of the port allowed him to keep abreast of all the new ships coming to the city
