Public Bathroom 3D model

Description

This public bathroom was designed and built for a project in Tulum that was completed a few months ago. The bathrooms are equiped with Showers and changing areas for both men and woman. It was built with local materials and built by the Local Mayan workers of the areas around the Yucatan peninsula. The one material used for the finish on the walls is called Chukum Chukum, named after its main ingredient, is a limestone-based stucco mixed with resin from chukum trees, a species endemic to the Yucatan region of Mexico. The resin, extracted by twice boiling the tree's bark, imparted the mixture with water-repelling qualities. It gives it that Pinkish look that eventually dries a bit darker. The exterior of the bathroom has a Rotoplus 100g tank and water directed from the cenote about 75 feet underground.
