You can completely easily customize the paint color just by changing it in the canvas tab and baking again the scene, which only requires a few minutes; then you change the color of the principled shader of the roll material and you've done! The color ramp in the plane material determines the wetness of both the dry and the painted zones,

The roll is constrained to the stick in such a way that it rotates when the stick is moved along the right axis.
