This is an architectural model of Guangzhou South Railway Station. As one of China’s busiest high-speed railway stations by passenger volume, it handles approximately 800 high-speed train arrivals and departures daily. The station’s roof is designed around the core element of a banana leaf, featuring progressively layered curved roofing and a central blue glass skylight. While efficiently fulfilling the core functions of a major transportation hub, it has also become a highly recognizable urban landmark of Guangzhou, thanks to its distinct Lingnan regional cultural identity.
