DESCRIPTION

Modeled and textured in Blender. The model was initially created in Sketchup, in the year 2010, in a low-poly version (this Sketchup model is also included). Later, in the year 2023, the model has been completely redrawn, using Blender.

The viaduct of Ormaiztegi (situated in Gipuzkoa, Basque Country -Spain-) was built in the year 1863 according to a project of the engineer Alexander Lavalley. It has a length of nearly 300 meters and a maximum height of over 30 meters. The main body of it constitutes a drawer with a laminated steel structure consisting of three beams with 5.60 meters singing. It was strengthened by reinforced concrete towers interspersed between masonry in 1940. It has been part of the route of the railway line Madrid-Paris until after the year 1995 rail traffic has been diverted by a new viaduct built in their nearby.
