This library provides a historically accurate set of Concrete Masonry Unit (CMU) components representing N-II double-corner units in use circa 1970. All components are delivered as native SOLIDWORKS parts generated from a controlled parametric model, with consistent geometry, part numbering, custom properties, and ASTM-referenced material data suitable for professional design and documentation workflows.
Scope Note: This release is limited to N-II double-corner CMU units (light, medium, and normal weight) and does not include other CMU geometries, bond patterns, or era variants. The current scope consists of 336 parts (168 unique geometries, each provided in two variants: mortar-filled and unfilled), modeled with period-appropriate concrete material assignments. Future releases are intended to expand coverage to additional CMU geometries and variants.
1970_CMU_Double Corner_N-II.zip contains the Pack'n'Go version from SOLIDWORKS. S-41-0105_Double Corner.zip contains the SOLIDWORKS file saved as native, then zipped.
Pricing ContextThis library is priced as a professional, historically accurate CAD component system. The 336 SOLIDWORKS parts are generated from a controlled parametric model using structured design tables, ensuring consistent geometry, naming, and custom properties across all variants. Each resulting part file is individually cataloged, part-numbered, and documented, with ASTM-referenced material data appropriate to CMU construction circa 1970. The value of this library lies in the elimination of repetitive modeling, validation, and standards alignment work for designers, engineers, and researchers working with legacy masonry systems.
Future expansions (other CMU families and eras will be priced separately.)
