An ancient Vihāra from indus, hindu, buddhist civilization. at ancient times the schooling was completely based on Temples means all anybody needs to start from is first temples or vidyamandir then there is Vihāras for middle schooling or high school then after that we've got MAHAVIHARAS which is of PHD level which are pretty much known of like - NALANDA, TAKSHASHILA, VIKRAMPEETHA and many more. At that times the kings were used to fund those organizations.There is a saying in south india which is Dont live where there are not any temples.
