DESCRIPTION

A realistic 3D model of an opera theater modeled in 3ds max and rendered in Vray.

2021 update notes:

  1. Fixed some tiny mesh defects.
  2. Improved rendering with V-Ray 5
  3. VrayDisplacement map added to the balconies and columns.
  4. Stage floor changed textures to seamless wooden floor
  5. Curtains now have Vray double sided material for a slightest softness and realism.
  6. FBX and OBJ updated for those who had import issues on new Lumion, UE4, Blender versions.(OLD scene still exists in case you need old version)

IMPORT:

FBX, OBJ and 2013 max scene also included.This model was imported and tested in Unreal engine, Lumion, Unity, Cinema 4D and Blender also and worked fine.

DESIGN:This model was slightly based on Bolshoi theater. But has different stage design.

LITTLE BACKGROUND STORY:A photo realistic full mesh models tend to be hard and exhausting to handle inside any 3d package. So I have achieved the most optimized scene possible to handle for users who download my model. Quality against speed you know. This scene will go well on most PCs.

USAGE:Originally my model wasn't intended for any architectural interior or any CAD design. It's more related to a media. Use it on your TV ads, motion graphic or movie animation projects or video games.

The quality of this while not bad, is also not worth the $75 price point it was on sale for. The texturing is really repetitive and a lot of the normals are flipped arbitrarily.
