DESCRIPTION

BISHKEK-STATE-CIRCUSTHIS UFO-SHAPED facility, DESIGNED IN 1976, was built to welcome circus performers from all over the world - or, more likely, from all over the USSR. Unlike many similar buildings, the Bishkek Circus still functions like a real circus. In fact, this architectural gem is a testament to the role the circus played in the Soviet Union.
