Bench 'Worn Metal'

BY DEFYREALITYENTERTAINMENT

This park bench comes with a rusted metal / grunge chrome finish, based on a basic 6 pole slate seat design with two metal support stands. The detail in the engineering of this model really helps convey a realistic effective, from metal clips attached to the far ends of the five seat poles (selected in one of the wireframe screenshots from Blender) to big bolts and smaller bolts with nuts attaching frames of the metal together and down into any ground plane / model you wish to use. Small details include variations in the geometry of the bracket meshes, missing clips at the end of the seat poles and a bolt that has fallen out at the bottom of the bench.

This bench will look great in an overgrown park or forest scene or wild environment. The seat poles themselves come in a variety of metal textures that can be swapped around to create some interesting looks. This will work great in any game or animation environment you are designing, coming in four different model formats - including fbx for Unity, UnrealEngine and game engine compatibility.

Model formats:

  • .obj (multi-format)
  • .3ds (multi-format)
  • .fbx (multi-format)
  • .blend (Blender v2.79)
  • .stl (multi-format)

Rendered images were rendered using Cycles Renderer in Blender v2.79 at 140 samples with denoising and filmic blender colour management.

All textures are set at a resolution of 3072x3027 and include 7 separate titles, with colour, roughness, metalness and normal maps included for each. Each 7 different texture groups link to various parts of the bench model (eg. bolt, support stands ...) as labelled clearly in each texture file.
