XGen NOTES :
Maya files have been created hair with xgen Core.You can easily translate xgen core to Xgen Interactive Spline without any problem.i used BakedGroomManager modifier for speed up the rendering.you just need to enable BakedGroomManager in modifire pannel and bake .XPD groom for discription's then start render.so you achieve exact render as you see preview. You would need Maya 2022 for render the hair. (No any plugins required to render a hair)You can easily modifier hair for your suitable.
