This Tyrannosaurus Rex 3D model is created using Blender and uses high resolution 8K texture maps to make highly detailed and realistic renders. The same quality of renders shown in the product previews can be achieved by simply opening the Blend file and hitting ‘Render’, without requiring any additional color correction or post processing.
It is rigged and ready to be animated, making it well-suited for realistic dinosaur scenes.
Technical Details:
This T-Rex measures a real world scale of 12 meters long, 1.91 meters wide and 4.29 meters tall
This model has clean quad topology
It is UV unwrapped and UVs are non overlapping
Consistent naming is used for the model parts
It is rendered in Cycles
Exported in FBX format
Geometry:
Total Polygon Count: 37,396, Total Vertex Count : 37,538 (all quads).
Textures:
The textures are in PNG format with 8192 x 8192 px resolution. These 8K textures cover the entire body of the T-Rex, including its teeth and claws. These textures are:

This T-Rex model also has the following 1024 x 1024 px resolution eye textures in PNG format:

T_Rex_Eye_Inner_Normal.png

In addition to these, a few other textures are included to be used as texture masks.
Rig:
The rig has FK and IK controls for the arms and legs, along with custom properties for enabling or disabling FK, IK, and limb follow behavior.
The visibility of these rig controls can be toggled from the Bone Collections tab inside Blender, or alternatively from the rig UI menu after running the provided Python script.
This T-Rex model is also skinned and the weights were painted manually. Additionally, corrective shape keys (or ‘blend shapes’) have been added to refine the deformations and create a more natural appearance.
File Format:
In addition to the Blend file, this model is also exported in FBX format. This exported FBX file can be used to import this model into various programs.
Please note, the complex rig controls, bone constraints and drivers are specific to Blender, and the exported file formats may not support them. So the exported FBX file only includes the mesh with deformation bones.
Thank you!
