A tiger cub is the offspring of a tiger, born after a gestation period of about 3.5 months. These cubs weigh around 1-3 pounds at birth and are blind for the first week. Tiger cubs are nurtured by their mothers for up to two years, learning essential hunting and survival skills before becoming independent.
